Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Enrique Amaya took the kick off in the first half of the match. Gez Bowland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Tristram Walters tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Newbiggin's Fraser Lucas got a free kick in the 6th minute. Gez Bowland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tristram Walters having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Osfich FC's Enrique Amaya sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Keiran Almond narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Newbiggin's Christian Winterburn got a free kick in the 18th minute. After 20th play minutes Enrique Amaya shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Keiran Almond and just under the crossbar into goal. Fraser Lucas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Tristram Walters made a huge save. After some careless play in the Osfich FC defense, Fraser Lucas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tristram Walters. The Osfich FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tristram Walters should have stopped the shot. In the 29th match minute, Osfich FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danny Watkinson to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 31 minutes, Fraser Lucas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Newbiggin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fraser Lucas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tristram Walters made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Fraser Lucas sent off a good shot on target. Fraser Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tristram Walters having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Gez Bowland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fraser Lucas came free with the goalkeeper in the 43rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tristram Walters could save by the left post. Newbiggin's Keiran Almond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Austin Conway in the 45th minute of play. Gez Bowland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gez Bowland stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Filippo Ferraris cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Keiran Almond was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Osfich FC's Jerome Armitage got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After some careless play in the Osfich FC defense, Geoff Dothery kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tristram Walters. The Osfich FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tristram Walters should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fraser Lucas in the 70th minute of play forced Osfich FC's goalkeeper Tristram Walters to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Osfich FC's Tristram Walters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Winterburn in the 72nd minute of play. After 78 played minutes Newbiggin got a freekick which was hit by Sol Caine. In the 91st minute, Fraser Lucas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94th minute, Gez Bowland ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tristram Walters was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. There was no doubt that Newbiggin were the better team. Newbiggin's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
