Travis Higginson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mattias Barber, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Stourbridge AFC's zone, Adam Bucyki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Travis Higginson came out of the goal and Adam Bucyki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th minute, Mattias Barber reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Travis Higginson. The goal made the score 1-0. Whiteley's Crispin Sawbridge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kieran Harris in the 19th minute of play. Crispin Sawbridge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bart Perryman, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Whiteley's Adam Bucyki slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Travis Higginson. That made the score 2-0 after 27 minutes of play. After 31 minutes of play, Whiteley's Adam Bucyki made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Travis Higginson was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Stourbridge AFC's zone, Adam Bucyki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thanks to some nice moves Ulryk Falkiewicz could shoot a difficult shot in the 40th minute, which Travis Higginson however easily saved by the left post. In the 42nd match minute, Stourbridge AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kieran Harris to maneuver through the defense. Travis Higginson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darius Naylor in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Silvester Morrison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Travis Higginson having to interfere. When Travis Cryan fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stourbridge AFC's protests and gave Travis Cryan a yellow card for diving instead. Crispin Sawbridge made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bart Perryman in the 65th minute. Darius Naylor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Travis Higginson having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darius Naylor in the 69th minute of play forced Stourbridge AFC's goalkeeper Travis Higginson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute, Darius Naylor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Whiteley fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. After 74 played minutes Stourbridge AFC got a freekick which was hit by Will Briggs. In the 76th match minute, Stourbridge AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Verne Slade to maneuver through the defense. After 78 minutes, Verne Slade mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stourbridge AFC and the Whiteley players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 81 played minutes Stourbridge AFC got a freekick which was hit by Sammy Leeson. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Kris Hughes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Whiteley's supporters rose to their feet, but Kris Hughes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Travis Higginson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Travis Higginson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Bucyki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute, Adam Bucyki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Whiteley fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. In the 93rd minute Johnathon Swallow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Travis Higginson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 95 played minutes Stourbridge AFC got a freekick which was hit by Verne Slade.
