Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Frank Sachs took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ed Delamore. If Ivan Hopgood had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 12 minutes Germany's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sergi Ramos who took care of the corner kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ed Delamore got free with Tommy Kahn in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Germany's Chris Mergenthaler got a free kick in the 17th minute. Albin Holweck hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th minute, Dale Hoskins made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 29th match minute, Celery was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Hopgood to maneuver through the defense. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ellison Emmenegger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Tommy Kahn successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 40 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Tristan Lane came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Frank Sachs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ed Delamore was the one to do the kick off. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adrian Dreifuss's late challenge caught a Celery's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adrian Dreifuss helped the player get up and apologised. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute, Germany's Frank Sachs ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ellison Emmenegger. Ellison Emmenegger yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tristan Lane in the 62nd minute of play. In the 65th minute Shawn East suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Albin Holweck charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albin Holweck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 66th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albin Holweck to maneuver through the defense. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tristan Lane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albin Holweck hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, Celery's Ed Delamore sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Hopgood in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 93rd match minute, Celery was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tristan Lane to maneuver through the defense. Albin Holweck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Ellison Emmenegger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celery were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Germany for a fine match.
