In the 18th minute Brendon Wicks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mickey Holdsworth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfred Poate received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Adam Hickson came out and tried to block the shot, but Alfred Poate slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 21st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Josh Maskell during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 37th match minute, Outfield Circle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zak Frampton to maneuver through the defense. Ollie Prendergast took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mickey Holdsworth. Mickey Holdsworth dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brendon Wicks was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ollie Prendergast got free with Mickey Holdsworth in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Eastcote's goalkeeper Adam Hickson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Kelvin Crossman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfred Poate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kelvin Crossman in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adam Hickson saved Eastcote from getting behind. After having played for 68 minutes, Kelvin Crossman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Outfield Circle's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kelvin Crossman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfred Poate received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Adam Hickson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the game, Brendon Wicks recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mickey Holdsworth. Brendon Wicks showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Outfield Circle were furious when Thom Jennings was red carded, 86 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 85th minute, one of Outfield Circle:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Outfield Circle. After a rather tough play, Eastcote's Garry Duggan got a free kick in the 90th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Poate in the 92nd minute of play forced Eastcote's goalkeeper Adam Hickson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfred Poate fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Hickson having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, Eastcote's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Poate came free, but Adam Hickson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
