Spectators: 7432 (Terracing: 5575, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 148) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kelvin Crossman started the match with the kick off. Alfred Poate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kelvin Crossman in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bradley Whitmore saved Manchester United from getting behind. Outfield Circle's Jack Swallow pulled a muscle in his leg after 8 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Outfield Circle's Cody Arrowsmith was substituted for Jack Swallow. After a rather tough play, Manchester United's Rufus Busby got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute of the match Josh Maskell shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bradley Whitmore showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Outfield Circle's Kelvin Crossman in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Manchester United's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Manchester United's Rufus Busby got a free kick in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goal looked a bit too open when Kelvin Crossman came free, but Bradley Whitmore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 19 played minutes Manchester United got a freekick which was hit by Vince Blunt. Mark Canning recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bradley Whitmore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfred Poate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 26 played minutes Outfield Circle got a freekick which was hit by Kris Beale. Mickey Holdsworth was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gavin Major. Alfred Poate blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bradley Whitmore having to make a save. In the 36th minute Alfred Poate shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bradley Whitmore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bradley Whitmore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kelvin Crossman in the 40th minute of the match. Bradley Whitmore stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kelvin Crossman's shot from short distance in the 46th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stan Pollard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Kelvin Crossman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Bradley Whitmore managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Outfield Circle's Kelvin Crossman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Manchester United's Freddy Dyson got a free kick in the 68th minute. Alfred Poate recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bradley Whitmore had great luck who in the 77thth minute grab hold of the ball when Kelvin Crossman from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Roy Firth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Outfield Circle's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
