Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Matty Sissons made the kick off which started today's match. Attleborough's Nath Hurren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matty Sissons in the 3rd minute of play. Nath Hurren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matty Sissons, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nath Hurren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Damion Fielden went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Damion Fielden's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nath Hurren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Matty Sissons scored 0-2 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nath Hurren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Damion Fielden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Nath Hurren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damion Fielden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nath Hurren having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Attleborough's zone, Matty Sissons stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nath Hurren came out of the goal and Matty Sissons tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Attleborough's Wally Senior in the 29th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Tyler Hughes was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Godmanchester FC through an amazing save. Gordon Nicholson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute, Oliver Delamore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Delamore in the 37th minute of play forced Attleborough's goalkeeper Nath Hurren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gordon Nicholson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damion Fielden in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nath Hurren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Matty Sissons fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nath Hurren having to interfere. In the 48th minute of the match Thom Huckerby shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nath Hurren showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Nath Hurren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matty Sissons in the 53rd minute. In the 57th match minute, Attleborough was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Colin Dunlop to maneuver through the defense. If Gordon Nicholson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wally Senior sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Wally Senior had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Damion Fielden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 78 minutes, Oliver Delamore mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Godmanchester FC and the Attleborough players grew even worse after the yellow card. Oliver Delamore kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 80 minutes in the game, Matty Sissons fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Nath Hurren having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Attleborough's Gordon Nicholson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tyler Hughes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 85th minute Wally Senior shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tyler Hughes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damion Fielden got free with Nath Hurren in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 92nd minute, Wally Senior made a precise shot to the right of Tyler Hughes. Godmanchester FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Matty Sissons sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
