Gav Rose made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. With a little luck, Witchers FC's Kurt Wittingham got control of the ball when Zack Prendergast tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gav Rose made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cliff Simpson in the 19th minute of play. Gav Rose made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Billy Clarke in the 22nd minute of play. Gav Rose showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cliff Simpson, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cliff Simpson in the 47th minute of play forced Bingers's goalkeeper Gav Rose to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Witchers FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Loyd Riad stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loyd Riad in the 51st minute of play forced Witchers FC's goalkeeper Kurt Wittingham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 53 minutes, Rupert Torpey mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bingers and the Witchers FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Witchers FC booed when Bingers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rupert Torpey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bingers's Gav Rose proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Bingers from getting a goal against them. In the 57th minute, Dale Bateson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cliff Simpson didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-2 via right post in the game's 58th minute. Witchers FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! In the 61st match minute, Bingers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zack Prendergast to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Witchers FC's Gav Rose threw himself towards the right post 77 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dale Bateson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Billy Clarke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gav Rose having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Bingers's zone, Billy Clarke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gav Rose came out of the goal and Billy Clarke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cliff Simpson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Gav Rose tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Witchers FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bingers throughout the match.
