Spectators: 7380 (Terracing: 5536, Seating: 1697, VIP seats: 147) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cliff Simpson took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Cliff Simpson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 6th minute Cliff Simpson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaz Pringle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Billy Clarke's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gaz Pringle read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Sim is bad-wings unfair's goal looked a bit too open when Cliff Simpson came free, but Gaz Pringle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rob Longley charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rob Longley the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 16 played minutes Witchers FC got a freekick which was hit by Rob Longley. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Witchers FC's goalkeeper Kurt Wittingham, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kurt Wittingham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vince Fieldwick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vince Fieldwick struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Kurt Wittingham didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sim is bad-wings unfair. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sim is bad-wings unfair fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 37th minute. Penalty! Billy Clarke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Gaz Pringle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Denis Beadle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Denis Beadle to make the kick off. Witchers FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Denis Beadle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Denis Beadle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gaz Pringle made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Cliff Simpson sent off a good shot on target. Drew Gillow kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. If Dale Bateson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Sim is bad-wings unfair manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Witchers FC to win.
