Spectators: 6709 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 0) Sonny Hardwick's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but George Leighton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. If Sonny Hardwick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute, Miles Greaves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. George Leighton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sonny Hardwick in the 22nd minute of play. After 23 played minutes Bethnal Green and Hackney United got a freekick which was hit by Brad Chilton. George Leighton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sonny Hardwick's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Bethnal Green and Hackney United's Brad Chilton got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Crispin Browning came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Bethnal Green and Hackney United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Crispin Browning couldn't finish the play. After having played for 36 minutes, Sonny Hardwick managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kingswinford's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sonny Hardwick was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 38 minutes into the game, Kingswinford's Pete Conway nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. George Leighton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Miles Greaves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregory Widdrington having to interfere.

In the 52nd minute, Miles Greaves made a precise shot to the right of Gregory Widdrington. Kingswinford's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. When Kingswinford's Pete Conway in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bethnal Green and Hackney United's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Bethnal Green and Hackney United getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Crispin Browning hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the game, Brad Chilton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bethnal Green and Hackney United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kingswinford the free kick. In the 67th minute, Brad Chilton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sonny Hardwick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. George Leighton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Miles Greaves fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Giles Gettins during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Kingswinford's Giles Gettins got a free kick in the 82nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sonny Hardwick in the 85th minute of play forced Bethnal Green and Hackney United's goalkeeper George Leighton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jack Niven kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 91st minute Pete Conway shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Leighton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
