A very good chance. 34 minutes into the match, Stocksbridge FC's goal looked a bit too open when George Kalischer came free, but Abraham Cooper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ozzy Simpson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abraham Cooper read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute Ozzy Simpson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abraham Cooper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The supporters of Tring AFC booed when Stocksbridge FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zackary Blakeley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tring AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but George Kalischer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abraham Cooper breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. George Kalischer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ozzy Simpson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abraham Cooper read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Conal La Forte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brian Branston having to interfere. Tring AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
