Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Robert Lynch got the match started through his kick off. When Deon Daly came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Wellingborough FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Deon Daly couldn't finish the play. Wellingborough FC's Camron Riad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Wellingborough FC from getting a goal against them. Camron Riad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Lynch in the 14th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Leo Christensen managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Barcelona's supporters rose to their feet, but Leo Christensen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camron Riad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22nd minute Len Sandell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stevie Cook saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Wellingborough FC's goalkeeper Camron Riad had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chris Boyes. Wes Carey took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Camron Riad. Camron Riad dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Camron Riad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marlon Kerridge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wes Carey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Marlon Kerridge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match Chris Boyes climbed in front of goal and pressed up 2-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Camron Riad. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Len Sandell made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Len Sandell in the 53rd minute of play forced FC Barcelona's goalkeeper Stevie Cook to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chris Boyes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Camron Riad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stevie Cook made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Len Sandell in the 57th minute of play. In the 62nd minute of the match, Deon Daly got a very nice opportunity to score, but Stevie Cook was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. FC Barcelona's Alf Bzeu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Christian Dunning, made in the 65th minute of the game. Alf Bzeu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Camron Riad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona's Chris Boyes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Camron Riad narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 76 played minutes Wellingborough FC got a freekick which was hit by Christian Dunning. After a rather tough play, Wellingborough FC's Jeremy Craddock got a free kick in the 79th minute. Robert Lynch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wellingborough FC's goalkeeper Camron Riad, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Barcelona fully deserved thier win.
