Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) When Bobby Hold fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Seaford's protests and gave Bobby Hold a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Whitechapel booed when Seaford was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bobby Hold didn't get a good kick on the ball. 4 minutes into the match, Seaford's goal looked a bit too open when Giles Cavanagh came free, but Kurt Deacon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute, Teddy Mann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dale Woolford scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leigh Spurgeon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dale Woolford in the 19th minute of play forced Whitechapel's goalkeeper Leigh Spurgeon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfie Whittaker's late challenge caught a Whitechapel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfie Whittaker helped the player get up and apologised. Kurt Deacon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Liam Bennett in the 22nd minute. Liam Merrill hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Ollie Brindley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dale Woolford in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leigh Spurgeon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teddy Mann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Whitechapel's zone, Dale Woolford stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leigh Spurgeon came out of the goal and Dale Woolford tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dale Woolford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leigh Spurgeon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teddy Mann in the 47th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teddy Mann to strike the kick off in the second half. If Benjamin Snowdon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 53rd minute Teddy Mann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leigh Spurgeon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Whitechapel's goal looked a bit too open when Teddy Mann came free, but Leigh Spurgeon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Seaford's Dale Woolford sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leigh Spurgeon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Victor Perryman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute Teddy Mann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leigh Spurgeon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Teddy Mann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seaford's supporters rose to their feet, but Teddy Mann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leigh Spurgeon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ollie Brindley in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kurt Deacon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 80 played minutes Whitechapel got a freekick which was hit by Vincent Bayne. If Liam Bennett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 93 played minutes Whitechapel got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Snowdon. In the 94th minute of the match Simon Hampshire shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leigh Spurgeon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the final whistle sounded Seaford left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Whitechapel.
