Finsbury Park's supporters crossed their fingers, but Calvin Moorhouse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Seth Waddington's late challenge caught a Finsbury Park's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mark McBreen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 40 minutes into the match, Rawdon AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Mitch Jackson came free, but Mark McBreen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mitch Jackson in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mark McBreen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mark McBreen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mitch Jackson's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jim Warne to strike the kick off in the second half. Mark McBreen made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Calvin Moorhouse sent off a good shot on target. Jordan Bramhall hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Rawdon AFC's Mark McBreen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Rawdon AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 59th minute, Calvin Moorhouse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 65 minutes, Calvin Moorhouse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Finsbury Park's supporters crossed their fingers, but Calvin Moorhouse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mitch Jackson in the 73rd minute of play forced Rawdon AFC's goalkeeper Mark McBreen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Calvin Moorhouse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 97 minutes into the match, Finsbury Park's goal looked a bit too open when Austen Wilberforce came free, but David Lambley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
