Julian Rusk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lloyd Colman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Thom Matthews received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Rueben Krief tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thom Matthews scored 1-2 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rueben Krief, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rueben Krief made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthew Forrest in the 82nd minute of play. After 83 played minutes Earby got a freekick which was hit by Geoff Dunning. Philip Todd kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Julian Rusk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Lloyd Colman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Julian Rusk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
