The crowd rose to their feet as Owen Floyd kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dominic Hilton. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Harvey Greenman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommy Elam in the 16th minute of the match. Trev Llyod fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harvey Greenman having to interfere. Zak Roberts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the game, ALEX FC's Zak Roberts nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dominic Hilton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. If Zak Roberts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tommy Elam made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tommy Elam in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Harvey Greenman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jez Bonds fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominic Hilton having to interfere. Zak Roberts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute Tommy Elam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harvey Greenman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harvey Greenman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roy Mullen in the 64th minute. Dominic Hilton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rupert Davies, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Lawrence Rogers lost his temper 66 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 72nd match minute, ALEX FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rupert Davies to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Uffington's zone, Zak Roberts stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dominic Hilton came out of the goal and Zak Roberts tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Zak Roberts sped through Uffington's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dominic Hilton. 92 minutes into the match, Walter Nicholls sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Harvey Greenman threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Walter Nicholls this time. Trev Llyod could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Harvey Greenman made a huge save.
