In the 9th minute Rio Gough shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralph Durrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rio Gough kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Sly Hanson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Jeff Izzard kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ralph Durrant. That made the score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeff Izzard in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ralph Durrant saved Carlton in Lindrick from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Sepsi OSK's zone, Harvey Brooke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Will Collier came out of the goal and Harvey Brooke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sly Hanson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Will Collier having to interfere. If Jeff Izzard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Jeff Izzard took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Ralph Durrant to make any attempt to save it. Will Collier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sly Hanson in the 35th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 36th minute of the game. One of Carlton in Lindrick:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sepsi OSK:s goal. In the 37th minute of the game, Sepsi OSK got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. 43 minutes into the match, Carlton in Lindrick's goalkeeper Ralph Durrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeff Izzard. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Sly Hanson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carlton in Lindrick's supporters rose to their feet, but Sly Hanson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Will Collier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Rio Gough made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Sepsi OSK booed when Carlton in Lindrick was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timothy Whitford didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rio Gough fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ralph Durrant having to interfere. Trey Kearney hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. A collision led to Carlton in Lindrick getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Trey Kearney hit a great ball. After having played for 62 minutes, Rio Gough managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sepsi OSK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rio Gough was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Harvey Brooke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carlton in Lindrick's supporters rose to their feet, but Harvey Brooke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Will Collier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 66 played minutes Carlton in Lindrick got a freekick which was hit by Darren Rowe. Carlton in Lindrick's Timothy Whitford shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 71st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Will Collier but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rio Gough in the 75th minute of play forced Carlton in Lindrick's goalkeeper Ralph Durrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th match minute, Sepsi OSK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bryan Platt to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeff Izzard in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ralph Durrant saved Carlton in Lindrick from getting behind. Ralph Durrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rio Gough in the 84th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Jeff Izzard made a precise shot to the right of Ralph Durrant. Carlton in Lindrick's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0.
