The goalkeeper, Marek Greenwood, was totally fooled by Kenilworth FC's Mick Starr, who 8 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 13 minutes into the match, Mario Bultrón had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marc Brazier. Kenilworth FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mario Bultrón was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. If Mario Bultrón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marc Brazier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Bultrón, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute, Beinn Etherington made a precise shot to the right of Marek Greenwood. Nash Mills FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 53rd minute of the match Kenilworth FC got a corner. Nash Mills FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mick Starr ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 54 minutes, Todd Graves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kenilworth FC and the Nash Mills FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th minute, Todd Graves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mario Bultrón was extremely unlucky when he, in the 88th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out.
