Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Nash Mills FC's Mario Bultrón in the 25th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Rodney Lester was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Bishop Auckland through an amazing save. Kristopher Howarth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marek Greenwood having to interfere. Mario Bultrón received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Rodney Lester tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd match minute, Bishop Auckland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vic Coburn to maneuver through the defense. Mario Bultrón sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mario Bultrón in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodney Lester prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bishop Auckland's Rodney Lester proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Bishop Auckland from getting a goal against them. Rodney Lester stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mario Bultrón's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. After 38 played minutes Nash Mills FC got a freekick which was hit by Tris Storry. After 41 played minutes Bishop Auckland got a freekick which was hit by Bobby Seabourne. A hard shot 45 in the game by Seb Ridsdale from a close distance when the talented Rodney Lester managed to make a qualified save. Bishop Auckland's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Bultrón in the 46th minute of play forced Bishop Auckland's goalkeeper Rodney Lester to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mario Bultrón stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rodney Lester took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Bultrón, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Nash Mills FC's Marek Greenwood got control of the ball when Kristopher Howarth tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Nash Mills FC booed when Bishop Auckland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vic Coburn didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bishop Auckland's zone, Seb Ridsdale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodney Lester came out of the goal and Seb Ridsdale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bobby Seabourne hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Seb Ridsdale in the 63rd minute of play forced Bishop Auckland's goalkeeper Rodney Lester to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodney Lester didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mario Bultrón went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 69 minutes into the match, Bishop Auckland's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Bultrón came free, but Rodney Lester reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Bishop Auckland's zone, Seb Ridsdale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodney Lester came out of the goal and Seb Ridsdale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76th minute, Louie Cousins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nash Mills FC's Austen Morning was substituted for Ritchie Blueman. After a rather tough play, Bishop Auckland's Louie Cousins got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 80th minute Mario Bultrón shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodney Lester saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mario Bultrón sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodney Lester stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mario Bultrón's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. When Nash Mills FC's Alfie Cusack in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bishop Auckland's goalie prevented a goal. Bishop Auckland's Rodney Lester played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfie Cusack in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th minute Mario Bultrón shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodney Lester saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfie Cusack sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mario Bultrón in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. Nash Mills FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
