The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Casey Daly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Vic Westerby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Keanu Pilgrim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vic Westerby having to interfere. In the 6th minute of the match Romeo Rashleigh sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jermaine Fairbank skillfully saved the ball. In the 8th minute, Neil Oliver hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romeo Rashleigh struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Jermaine Fairbank didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Exeter. With his leg Vic Westerby managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Red Dragons FC's Keanu Pilgrim fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 13 minutes into the match, Red Dragons FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jude Mayfield came free, but Jermaine Fairbank reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Keanu Pilgrim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Keanu Pilgrim in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vic Westerby, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 25th minute, Connor Downham fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Vic Westerby, passed just outside the right post. Keanu Pilgrim struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Vic Westerby didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Red Dragons FC. In the 34th minute Keanu Pilgrim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vic Westerby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Keanu Pilgrim stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vic Westerby dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 70th minute, Keanu Pilgrim left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Red Dragons FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Vic Westerby stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Keanu Pilgrim's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Casey Daly scored 5-1 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vic Westerby, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vic Westerby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Austen Ramsden in the 81st minute of play. A hard, long distance shot from Casey Daly flew over the goal. In the 86th minute, Keanu Pilgrim left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Red Dragons FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. In the 90th minute Barney Lomas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jermaine Fairbank saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Red Dragons FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Neil Oliver hit a great ball. The supporters of Red Dragons FC booed when Exeter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barney Lomas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vic Westerby came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Red Dragons FC's Keanu Pilgrim. But to his dismay, Keanu Pilgrim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. When the referee ended the match the Red Dragons FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
