Spectators: 6704 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1704, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Darius Mayfield got the match started through his kick off. Robbie Boothroyd hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Conan Barnes kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Lenny Winterbottom ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Francis Whieldon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Darius Mayfield received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Francis Whieldon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 13 played minutes Brentford FC got a freekick which was hit by Kristopher Hunter. In the 15th minute, Tristan Lowe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lenny Winterbottom hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Lenny Winterbottom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute, Iain Lincoln sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Brentford FC's Chaz King didn't even have to move. Rio Shephard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Chaz King tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Darius Mayfield scored 0-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Francis Whieldon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 35 minutes into the match, Beccles's goal looked a bit too open when Darius Mayfield came free, but Francis Whieldon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chaz King showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basil Goodwick in the 38th minute of the match. Beccles's Francis Whieldon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lenny Winterbottom in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Ivan Clement hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Darius Mayfield received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Francis Whieldon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Beccles's Francis Whieldon got control of the ball when Lenny Winterbottom tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Darius Mayfield kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Francis Whieldon. That made the score 0-3 in the 68 minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Beccles's Basil Goodwick sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Chaz King narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 79thth minute of the game Rio Shephard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brentford FC's Chaz King was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lenny Winterbottom blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Francis Whieldon having to make a save. Francis Whieldon came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Brentford FC's Lenny Winterbottom. But to his dismay, Lenny Winterbottom quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 91 minutes into the game, Basil Goodwick cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Chaz King was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
