Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacob Santos in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francis Eastwood prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 23 minutes, Terry Barron made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Batley United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Heston AFC the free kick. A collision led to Batley United getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. The Heston AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zane Tyler should have stopped the shot.
