The tension between the Par City and the Bracebrige Heath FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Par City getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Dale Tindale hit a great ball. Noel Sheene took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eric Nancy. Par City's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Par City's Dale Tindale got a free kick in the 24th minute. Ivan Everard was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Francis Van Hove showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 28 minute of play. Par City's Eric Nancy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shane Gibbons in the 35th minute of play. Verne Nethercoat took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ivan Everard. In the 74th minute, Norman Sunderland ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivan Everard was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. The supporters of Bracebrige Heath FC booed when Par City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Verne Nethercoat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivan Everard came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Par City's Carlton Porter. But to his dismay, Carlton Porter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. In the 89th minute, one of Bracebrige Heath FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bracebrige Heath FC. Marty Booker shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 94 minutes into the match, Bracebrige Heath FC's goal looked a bit too open when Norman Sunderland came free, but Ivan Everard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivan Everard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francis Van Hove in the 95th minute of play. 97 minutes into the game, Par City's Leigh Downes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ivan Everard made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Par City fully deserved thier win.
