Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rupert Maxwell started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Danny Niven showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bart Palmer, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Kris Murphy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Barry Thurman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Danny Niven made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bart Palmer in the 8th minute of play. A collision led to Alderney United getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Lawrence Hill hit a great ball. Barry Thurman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kris Murphy in the 21st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Kris Murphy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Docklands FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kris Murphy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Barry Thurman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Danny Niven showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bart Palmer in the 27th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 32 minutes into the game, when Joseph Hamilton put in a rough tackle. 32 minutes into the game, one of Docklands FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Alderney United a penalty, 34 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jonny Proctor, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Docklands FC's Danny Niven. 1-2. Colin Lampard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Barry Thurman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Colin Lampard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, one of Docklands FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Docklands FC. In the 44th minute there was a penalty for Alderney United. Jonny Proctor stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Danny Niven. 1-3. After the first half Alderney United were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for CJ Ricketts to strike the kick off in the second half. CJ Ricketts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Colin Lampard in the 53rd minute of play forced Alderney United's goalkeeper Barry Thurman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barry Thurman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Denzil Stevens went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. CJ Ricketts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Barry Thurman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Docklands FC's Denzil Stevens sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Barry Thurman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tod Layfield fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barry Thurman having to interfere. CJ Ricketts recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Barry Thurman came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Docklands FC's Colin Lampard. But to his dismay, Colin Lampard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Colin Lampard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Barry Thurman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CJ Ricketts's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Barry Thurman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Colin Lampard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Tod Layfield had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Colin Lampard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 92nd minute Colin Lampard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barry Thurman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
