In the 5th minute, Tristram Calder reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Matthew Southgate. The goal made the score 1-0. Travis Scott made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jools Mallaby in the 9th minute of play. Sacha Sewell took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Travis Scott. Travis Scott dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When Wimborne's Miles Deveraux in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wokingham's goalie prevented a goal. Matthew Southgate made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tristram Calder in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Wimborne's goal looked a bit too open when Tristram Calder came free, but Matthew Southgate reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jools Mallaby in the 31st minute of play forced Wokingham's goalkeeper Travis Scott to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th match minute, Wokingham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Russ Bacon to maneuver through the defense. Kev Edmunds sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Tristram Calder managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wokingham's supporters rose to their feet, but Tristram Calder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matthew Southgate breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tristram Calder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthew Southgate having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jools Mallaby made a kick off. Jools Mallaby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Travis Scott having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Wimborne's goal looked a bit too open when Tristram Calder came free, but Matthew Southgate reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute Kev Edmunds shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthew Southgate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bobby Myers's late challenge caught a Wokingham's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bobby Myers helped the player get up and apologised. If Tristram Calder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jools Mallaby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Travis Scott having to interfere. Jools Mallaby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jools Mallaby in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Travis Scott saved Wokingham from getting behind. 75 minutes into the match, Wimborne's goal looked a bit too open when Kev Edmunds came free, but Matthew Southgate reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, Kev Edmunds got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Miles Deveraux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Travis Scott tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Tim Norfolk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute, Wokingham's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jools Mallaby fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
