Philip Edworthy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doug Burrows, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Doug Burrows might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Philip Edworthy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Doug Burrows ran back to his position shaking his head.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Doug Burrows stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Allan Bailey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Philip Edworthy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Deon Black hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Donny Sewell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brendon Timmins read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Mongolskie Pastuchy's goal looked a bit too open when Franz Hargreaves came free, but Brendon Timmins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Franz Hargreaves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brendon Timmins read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Mongolskie Pastuchy's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
