Spectators: 7394 (Terracing: 5644, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 20) Godalming's Marty Hopton started the match with a crisp pass. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Wes Starr, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 13 played minutes Hook got a freekick which was hit by Kris Garforth. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marty Hopton in the 15th minute of play forced Hook's goalkeeper Txema Jorquera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 16 played minutes Godalming got a freekick which was hit by Rhys Stonebridge. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tom Rundle in the 19th minute of play forced Hook's goalkeeper Txema Jorquera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Conal Bradfield got free with Wes Starr in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Hook's zone, Tom Rundle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Txema Jorquera came out of the goal and Tom Rundle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Benjamin Radcliffe fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hook's protests and gave Benjamin Radcliffe a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th minute, one of Hook:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hook. In the 42nd minute there was a penalty for Godalming. Hugh Moore stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Txema Jorquera. 2-1. Wes Starr showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolo Patrido in the 48th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Conal Bradfield made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Ryan Prince managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hook's supporters rose to their feet, but Ryan Prince was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wes Starr breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wes Starr stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Conal Bradfield's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. After a rather tough play, Godalming's Tom Rundle got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 68th minute, Marty Hopton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Bartolo Patrido's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wes Starr was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Godalming's Wes Starr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conal Bradfield in the 71st minute of play. When Hook's Conal Bradfield in 75 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Wes Starr guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 77th minute, Bartolo Patrido ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wes Starr was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. After a rather tough play, Hook's Quentin Hooker got a free kick in the 80th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolo Patrido in the 88th minute of play forced Godalming's goalkeeper Wes Starr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tom Rundle came free with the goalkeeper in the 91st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Txema Jorquera could save by the left post.
