In the 10th minute Themis Zacharatos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John-Paul Cryan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. John-Paul Cryan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lee Branston in the 15th minute of the match. Rueben Warne struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Jens Sundberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Durham City AFC. John-Paul Cryan didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Sepsi OSK's Themis Zacharatos shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 26th minute, Themis Zacharatos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. John-Paul Cryan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. John-Paul Cryan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 孔寒亮, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Durham City AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Themis Zacharatos came free, but John-Paul Cryan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jens Sundberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wally Joynes, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. John-Paul Cryan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lee Branston, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Themis Zacharatos was the one to do the kick off. If Rueben Warne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Lee Branston kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving John-Paul Cryan. That made the score 0-4 in the 55 minute of play. Durham City AFC's John-Paul Cryan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Durham City AFC from getting a goal against them. Jens Sundberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mike Rusby in the 61st minute of play. John-Paul Cryan made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Themis Zacharatos sent off a good shot on target. Lee Branston received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. John-Paul Cryan came out and tried to block the shot, but Lee Branston slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 68th minute. Wally Joynes struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Jens Sundberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Durham City AFC. Mike Rusby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens Sundberg having to interfere. A collision led to Sepsi OSK getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Ömer Türkoğlu hit a great ball. The supporters of Sepsi OSK booed when Durham City AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mike Rusby didn't get a good kick on the ball. John-Paul Cryan came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Sepsi OSK's Billie Knight. But to his dismay, Billie Knight quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. John-Paul Cryan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Themis Zacharatos went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. In the 94th play minute Themis Zacharatos came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised John-Paul Cryan. 0-8. Sepsi OSK played a much better game than Durham City AFC and deserved their victory. The Durham City AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
