Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute Rory Drake shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Billy Dexter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Alfie Brookes fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lancaster FC's protests and gave Alfie Brookes a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Ashley Scorfield managed to get in a good position for a shot. Harold Hill's supporters rose to their feet, but Ashley Scorfield was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vernon Chiverton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22nd minute, Alfie Brookes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vernon Chiverton acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 22nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Derek Briant. Conal Brooke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Steve Lappin kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. The corner ended in Kyle Parry almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lancaster FC's Vernon Chiverton did a great save. Billy Dexter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Preece in the 35th minute of the match. Ruben Preece received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Billy Dexter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Conal Brooke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Steve Lappin's late challenge caught a Harold Hill's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Steve Lappin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th minute, Steve Lappin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Conal Brooke made a kick off. After having played for 59 minutes, Ruben Preece managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lancaster FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruben Preece was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 60th minute, Steve Lappin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ruben Preece received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Billy Dexter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Steve Lappin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the match, Harold Hill's goalkeeper Billy Dexter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ruben Preece. Derek Briant kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74th minute of the match Thomas Brennan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Billy Dexter skillfully saved the ball. Billy Dexter was a little too slow when Ruben Preece got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 0-1. 80 minutes into the match, Lancaster FC's Steve Lappin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Billy Dexter narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ruben Preece came free with the goalkeeper in the 83rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Billy Dexter could save by the left post. 87 minutes into the game, Ruben Preece cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Billy Dexter was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lancaster FC's Vernon Chiverton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conal Brooke in the 92nd minute of play. A hard shot 93 in the game by Ruben Preece from a close distance when the talented Billy Dexter managed to make a qualified save. Harold Hill's players were relieved. Will Davies charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Will Davies the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Will Davies hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Lancaster FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
