Loyd Kyle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Kyle Gordon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CJ Coe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johnnie Marsden in the 13th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Loyd Kyle managed to get in a good position for a shot. HighFlyers FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Loyd Kyle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kyle Gordon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Liverpool Pirates's Christian Broadhurst got a free kick in the 15th minute. Liverpool Pirates's Kyle Gordon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ollie Goodfellow in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th match minute, HighFlyers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ollie Goodfellow to maneuver through the defense. Eric Scrivener lost his temper 22 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in HighFlyers FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, CJ Coe, was totally fooled by Liverpool Pirates's Armandinho Valadares, who 25 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Johnnie Marsden scored 3-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of CJ Coe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 33rd minute, Liverpool Pirates's Johnnie Marsden dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. A collision led to Liverpool Pirates getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Emirhan Tülün hit a great ball. If Ollie Goodfellow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Johnnie Marsden could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but CJ Coe made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armandinho Valadares got free with CJ Coe in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ollie Goodfellow was the one to do the kick off. Emirhan Tülün's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but CJ Coe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. HighFlyers FC's Ollie Goodfellow got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armandinho Valadares in the 58th minute of play forced HighFlyers FC's goalkeeper CJ Coe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 59 minutes, Emirhan Tülün mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Liverpool Pirates and the HighFlyers FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of HighFlyers FC booed when Liverpool Pirates was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emirhan Tülün didn't get a good kick on the ball. CJ Coe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armandinho Valadares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johnnie Marsden in the 63rd minute of play forced HighFlyers FC's goalkeeper CJ Coe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th match minute, Liverpool Pirates was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Soares to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the match, HighFlyers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Armandinho Valadares came free, but CJ Coe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Liverpool Pirates's zone, Theo Brodie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kyle Gordon came out of the goal and Theo Brodie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. CJ Coe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johnnie Marsden in the 76th minute of play. 81 minutes into the game, Armandinho Valadares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. CJ Coe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 92 minutes into the match, Johnnie Marsden had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of CJ Coe. HighFlyers FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Johnnie Marsden was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Armandinho Valadares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. CJ Coe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Liverpool Pirates were the better team. Liverpool Pirates's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
