Knapton's Joshua Endean proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Knapton from getting a goal against them. 7 minutes into the game, Chaz Crosby was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Knapton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pogon Mogilno the free kick. After 7 played minutes Knapton got a freekick which was hit by Chaz Crosby. Pat Allott fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zane Nancy having to interfere. Joshua Endean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jake Dobby in the 14th minute of play. If Chesney Talbot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. Jake Dobby scored 2-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joshua Endean, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Knapton's Sean Hudson got a free kick in the 59th minute. Glyn Naylor, 60 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After having played for 63 minutes, Chesney Talbot managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pogon Mogilno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chesney Talbot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Pogon Mogilno's zone, Pat Allott stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zane Nancy came out of the goal and Pat Allott tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Pogon Mogilno's Jake Dobby in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Knapton's goalie prevented a goal. Joshua Endean didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chesney Talbot went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. 80 minutes into the game, Pogon Mogilno's Chesney Talbot nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joshua Endean made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Glenn Harkin kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Chesney Talbot put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Joshua Endean. A hard shot 99 in the game by CJ Wagstaff from a close distance when the talented Zane Nancy managed to make a qualified save. Pogon Mogilno's players were relieved. Joshua Endean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chesney Talbot in the 102nd minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Knapton players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pogon Mogilno.
