Jerry Froggatt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregory Mead in the 6th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Dominik Osbon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonny Wardman was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. After 17 played minutes F.C. Liverpool got a freekick which was hit by Ivor McAleer. 18 minutes into the match, F.C. Liverpool's goal looked a bit too open when Dominik Osbon came free, but Jonny Wardman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Rio Leach was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C. Liverpool's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stourbridge the free kick. Rio Leach hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the F.C. Liverpool defense, Dominik Osbon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonny Wardman. The F.C. Liverpool fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonny Wardman should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benji Goodfellow during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 26 minutes into the game, one of F.C. Liverpool:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 27th minute there was a penalty for Stourbridge. Aaron Pickford stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jonny Wardman. 0-2. A collision led to F.C. Liverpool getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Rio Leach hit a great ball. Callum McKeown recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ivor McAleer kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. F.C. Liverpool's Jonny Wardman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Callum McKeown in the 41st minute of play. If Dominik Osbon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute Callum McKeown shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonny Wardman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dominik Osbon was the one to do the kick off. Gregory Mead received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Jerry Froggatt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dominik Osbon struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Jonny Wardman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stourbridge. The audience thought a goal was coming when Callum McKeown got free with Jonny Wardman in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dominik Osbon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute, Rio Leach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Crispin Fordham hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Dominik Osbon struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Jonny Wardman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stourbridge. Jonny Wardman made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Callum McKeown sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 74 minutes, Gregory Mead managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C. Liverpool's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gregory Mead was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 76thth minute of the game Dominik Osbon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but F.C. Liverpool's Jonny Wardman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 78 minutes into the game, Adam Woods was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stourbridge's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C. Liverpool the free kick. When Lee Le Tissier fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stourbridge's protests and gave Lee Le Tissier a yellow card for diving instead. The referee gave F.C. Liverpool a penalty, 81 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Frankie Rockett, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Stourbridge's Jerry Froggatt. 1-3. In the 85th minute, F.C. Liverpool's Neil Hislop seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Neil Hislop the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of F.C. Liverpool protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Neil Hislop had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Jonny Wardman had in the 87thth minute some difficulties stopping Aaron Pickford's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Callum McKeown recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Stourbridge's Dominik Osbon in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye F.C. Liverpool's goalie prevented a goal. Callum McKeown sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonny Wardman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominik Osbon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Stourbridge could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than F.C. Liverpool throughout the match.
