In the 28thth minute of the game Johnnie Smith who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cromer's Jo Silk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Gav Holdsworth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute, Matt Winfield hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hayden Haugue, 61 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to Cromer getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Peter Torpey hit a great ball. Ashley Davies recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Real madrid booed when Cromer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rufus Hollingsworth didn't get a good kick on the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cromer fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 67th minute. Penalty! Jo Silk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastien Fearns, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 79th match minute, Real madrid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johnnie Smith to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Sebastien Fearns sped through Cromer's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jo Silk. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Ashley Davies managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real madrid's supporters rose to their feet, but Ashley Davies was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jo Silk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sebastien Fearns fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jo Silk having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Ashley Davies notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Cromer's Jo Silk. Jo Silk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Real madrid had won after a very even match.
