Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) Leo Power started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Pat Addison came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Great Ayton` FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pat Addison couldn't finish the play. Adam Gettins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zackary Maston having to interfere. When Keanu Bartlett fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Docklands FC's protests and gave Keanu Bartlett a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Docklands FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Keanu Bartlett hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Docklands FC's Colin Groom got a free kick in the 7th minute. Rod Cookson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zackary Maston having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rod Cookson in the 12th minute of play forced Docklands FC's goalkeeper Zackary Maston to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rod Cookson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adam Gettins got free with Zackary Maston in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Great Ayton` FC's Nathanial Hardcastle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacob Younger in the 19th minute of play. Rod Cookson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Zackary Maston tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Great Ayton` FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jacob Younger came free, but Nathanial Hardcastle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Great Ayton` FC's Pat Addison got a free kick in the 27th minute. Leo Power sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adam Gettins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Zackary Maston tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rod Cookson in the 35th minute of play forced Docklands FC's goalkeeper Zackary Maston to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpected shot in the 37th minute by Adam Gettins got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jacob Younger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Great Ayton` FC's Rod Cookson got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Adam Gettins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rod Cookson to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Adam Gettins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rod Cookson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jacob Younger who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Nathanial Hardcastle when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rod Cookson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zackary Maston having to interfere. Adam Gettins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Zackary Maston tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Adam Gettins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adam Gettins might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zackary Maston. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adam Gettins ran back to his position shaking his head. Zackary Maston showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Gettins, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
