Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Leo Power took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacob Younger got free with Alex Akins in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 9 minutes into the match, Ashton Under Hill City's Wally Lynch sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zackary Maston narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wally Lynch in the 11th minute of play forced Docklands FC's goalkeeper Zackary Maston to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patrick Hanson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zackary Maston having to interfere. After 17 played minutes Docklands FC got a freekick which was hit by Leo Power. Patrick Hanson scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zackary Maston, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Patrick Hanson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Zackary Maston tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 25 minutes, Jacob Younger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Docklands FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacob Younger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Keanu Bartlett got free with Alex Akins in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alex Akins made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacob Younger in the 31st minute. The supporters of Docklands FC booed when Ashton Under Hill City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Billy Heath didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zackary Maston made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wally Lynch in the 38th minute of play. Wally Lynch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zackary Maston having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wally Lynch to strike the kick off in the second half. Zackary Maston took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wally Lynch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wally Lynch struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Zackary Maston didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ashton Under Hill City. Zackary Maston made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Wally Lynch sent off a good shot on target. Alex Akins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Power in the 60th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the game, Colin Groom cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Alex Akins was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wally Lynch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute, Wally Lynch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alex Akins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacob Younger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Docklands FC's Jacob Younger in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ashton Under Hill City's goalie prevented a goal. If Wally Lynch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the match, Docklands FC's goal looked a bit too open when Piers Bell came free, but Zackary Maston reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 78th minute of the game. One of Docklands FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ashton Under Hill City:s goal. The goalkeeper, Zackary Maston, was totally fooled by Ashton Under Hill City's Ollie Holroyd, who 79 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Lawrence Steele hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Leo Power hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Ashton Under Hill City were awarded a corner in the 94th minute after Docklands FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ollie Holroyd took the corner. In the 94th minute, Damon Duffy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
