No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Denis Reed made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neil Young in the 52nd minute of play forced Chiswick's goalkeeper Ash Basham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Denis Reed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 63 minutes into the match, Kev Foley notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Chiswick's Ash Basham. Ash Basham was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
