Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5626, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) Hove FC's Charles Pearch started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Charles Pearch had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ash Basham. Chiswick's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Charles Pearch was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Austen Street's late challenge caught a Hove FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Austen Street helped the player get up and apologised. 17 minutes into the match, Damian Salmon notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Chiswick's Ash Basham. Ash Basham was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ash Basham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charles Pearch, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Ash Basham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charles Pearch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Hove FC booed when Chiswick was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Austen Street didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hove FC's Damian Salmon got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Damian Salmon took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ash Basham. Ash Basham dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After 38 minutes of play, Hove FC's Charles Pearch made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ash Basham was left in no man's land by his defense there! 44 minutes into the match, Chiswick's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Salmon came free, but Ash Basham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Chiswick's Olly Metcalfe got a free kick in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Olly Metcalfe to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Pearch in the 60th minute of play forced Chiswick's goalkeeper Ash Basham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute, Hove FC's Charles Pearch dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. The crowd rose to their feet as Damian Salmon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ash Basham. That made the score 0-8 in the 66 minute of play. Damian Salmon was extremely unlucky when he, in the 73rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 76th minute, Olly Metcalfe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ash Basham didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 83rd minute, which inside left pole to 0-11. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Hove FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
