After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Ivor Wild managed to get in a good position for a shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Bart Thomas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Connor Pearson. That made the score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. In the 25th minute of the match, Adam Coyle got a very nice opportunity to score, but Connor Pearson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Carl Barker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivor Wild, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sol Busby to strike the kick off in the second half. The Rising Bridge City players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
