After a defensive mix-up in Kingswood's zone, Kirk Cohens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jermaine Banim came out of the goal and Kirk Cohens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute, Kirk Cohens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jermaine Banim was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The audience was convinced that Chip Church's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jermaine Banim was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Kirk Cohens's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jermaine Banim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Chip Church notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Kingswood's Jermaine Banim. Jermaine Banim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Peter Hayes charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Peter Hayes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 46 played minutes Kingswood got a freekick which was hit by Peter Hayes. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jez Starr stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Chip Church could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Jermaine Banim made a huge save. The supporters of Kingswood booed when heskeys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seth Bartlett didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to heskeys getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Ashley Eagles hit a great ball. Chip Churchs short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Jermaine Banim to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With an all-out effort, heskeys's Jermaine Banim threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kirk Cohens, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ashley Eagles during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 67th minute, Ashley Eagles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute, Denny Longden ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Allan Brough was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. The referee gave Peter Hayes a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Jermaine Banim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kirk Cohens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chip Church's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jermaine Banim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kirk Cohens in the 81st minute of play forced Kingswood's goalkeeper Jermaine Banim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kirk Cohens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Jermaine Banim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chip Church had several of the Kingswood's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 93 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-5 score and a disappointed Jermaine Banim as he didn't even see the shot coming.
