After some careless play in the everton defense, Miles Wendon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Liam Purkiss. The everton fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Liam Purkiss should have stopped the shot. When Connor Scorfield came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the everton fans jumped to their feet. The crowd rose to their feet as everton's Connor Scorfield slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Christian Litchfield. That made the score 1-1 after 17 minutes of play. everton's Dylon Rushforth was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 22nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 25th minute CJ Robson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Litchfield saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dylon Rushforth in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christian Litchfield saved Dudley Divers from getting behind. Connor Scorfield fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Litchfield having to interfere. The supporters of everton booed when Dudley Divers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricky Mason didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Connor Scorfield had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
