Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nicholas Nottingham took the kick off in the first half of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Clapham's goal looked a bit too open when Shane Ball came free, but Mitch Basham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Shane Ball fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mitch Basham having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Malcolm Oliver left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Adhesive Alligators fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Malcolm Oliver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Malcolm Oliver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Shane Ball got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Clapham's goal looked a bit too open when Shane Ball came free, but Mitch Basham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Malcolm Oliver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Shane Ball got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Malcolm Oliver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Mitch Basham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Llewellyn took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mitch Basham. Mitch Basham dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Shane Ball fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mitch Basham having to interfere. Mitch Basham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malcolm Oliver, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Mitch Basham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shane Ball, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Shane Ball to strike the kick off in the second half. Mitch Basham made an important save on a dangerous shot by Malcolm Oliver in the 56th minute. Shane Ball's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mitch Basham read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Shane Ball kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mitch Basham. That made the score 0-4 in the 60 minute of play. Shane Ball sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 68 played minutes Adhesive Alligators got a freekick which was hit by Rupert Barnett. Mitch Basham didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 76th minute, which inside left pole to 0-5. If Nigel Shephard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, Mitch Basham successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Shane Ball struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Mitch Basham didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Adhesive Alligators. Shane Ball received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mitch Basham came out and tried to block the shot, but Shane Ball slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 90th minute. Malcolm Oliver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Mitch Basham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
