Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Shane Ball got the match started through his kick off. After 2 played minutes Scotland s1 athletic got a freekick which was hit by Vince Downes. After having played for 3 minutes, Shane Ball managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Adhesive Alligators's supporters crossed their fingers, but Shane Ball was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Scotland s1 athletic booed when Adhesive Alligators was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nigel Shephard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Scotland s1 athletic's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Shane Ball scored to the left of an out of position Crispin Shaw, making the score, 1-0. Ben Shields kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Shane Ball received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Crispin Shaw came out and tried to block the shot, but Shane Ball slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 14th minute. John-Paul Mallon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Laurence Case's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. When Malcolm Oliver came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Adhesive Alligators fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Malcolm Oliver couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Shane Ball in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Crispin Shaw prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Crispin Shaw made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Malcolm Oliver sent off a good shot on target. Shane Ball was extremely unlucky when he, in the 28th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 33 minutes into the game, Martin Llewellyn was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Adhesive Alligators's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Scotland s1 athletic the free kick. The supporters of Scotland s1 athletic booed when Adhesive Alligators was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Llewellyn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kyle Crichton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but John-Paul Mallon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. In the 40th minute Kyle Crichton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John-Paul Mallon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adhesive Alligators's Nigel Shephard got his second yellow card of the match in the 41st minute. The referee ordered Nigel Shephard off the ground. A collision led to Adhesive Alligators getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Nigel Shephard hit a great ball. Laurence Case sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Laurence Case was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Kyle Crichton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scotland s1 athletic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kyle Crichton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 56th minute, Shane Ball hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 57 minutes into the game, Scotland s1 athletic's Kyle Crichton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. John-Paul Mallon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Laurence Case blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without John-Paul Mallon having to make a save. 65 minutes into the match, Adhesive Alligators's goalkeeper John-Paul Mallon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kyle Crichton. Kyle Crichton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. John-Paul Mallon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurence Case, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. John-Paul Mallon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laurence Case, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. If Kyle Crichton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nick Tipton kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Kyle Crichton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of John-Paul Mallon. Adhesive Alligators's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kyle Crichton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Malcolm Oliver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Crispin Shaw tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Malcolm Oliver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Adhesive Alligators's goalkeeper John-Paul Mallon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Malcolm Oliver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Crispin Shaw having to interfere. The Scotland s1 athletic supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Scotland s1 athletic would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
