The Scotland s1 athletic fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 30 minutes into the match, Clapham's goal looked a bit too open when Laurence Case came free, but Mitch Basham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laurence Case scored 0-3 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mitch Basham, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurence Case in the 39th minute of play forced Clapham's goalkeeper Mitch Basham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laurence Case fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mitch Basham having to interfere. If Kyle Crichton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicholas Nottingham was the one to do the kick off. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Scotland s1 athletic's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clapham the free kick. Kyle Crichton hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Scotland s1 athletic's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
