Spectators: 6729 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 10) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Quentin Strongman kicked off to start the match. 6 minutes into the match, Clapham AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Stu Marsden came free, but Bobby Stride reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Clapham AFC's zone, Nat Robson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bobby Stride came out of the goal and Nat Robson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nat Robson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bobby Stride having to interfere. When Nat Robson came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Hadleigh United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nat Robson couldn't finish the play. Stu Marsden struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Bobby Stride didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hadleigh United. Nat Robson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bobby Stride having to interfere. Bobby Stride showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stu Marsden in the 23rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stuart Grigg during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Clapham AFC booed when Hadleigh United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stuart Grigg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stu Marsden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Stu Marsden made a precise shot to the right of Bobby Stride. Clapham AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Nat Robson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bobby Stride read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Bobby Stride came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Hadleigh United's Stu Marsden. But to his dismay, Stu Marsden quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 41 played minutes Hadleigh United got a freekick which was hit by Stuart Grigg. In the 47th minute, Stu Marsden got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Stu Marsden might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bobby Stride. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stu Marsden ran back to his position shaking his head. Nat Robson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bobby Stride having to interfere. Ryan Newman hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Stu Marsden kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bobby Stride. That made the score 0-4 in the 70 minute of play. Nat Robson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stu Marsden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bobby Stride having to interfere. Bobby Stride showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stu Marsden in the 81st minute of the match. Stu Marsden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 91st minute, Stu Marsden reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bobby Stride. The goal made the score 0-5. Nat Robson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nat Robson struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Bobby Stride didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hadleigh United. When the final whistle sounded Hadleigh United left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Clapham AFC.
