Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lance Kelly took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Hadleigh United booed when Kemsing was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mitch Fordham didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Den Halford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the match, Kemsing's goal looked a bit too open when Stu Marsden came free, but Carl Pell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stu Marsden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Den Halford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duncan Willetts having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Stu Marsden got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mitch Fordham hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Damon Buckley, 36 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Nat Robson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute Lance Kelly shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duncan Willetts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 48 minutes into the game, one of Hadleigh United:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Duncan Willetts, was totally fooled by Kemsing's Chris Pearce, who 50 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stu Marsden was the one to do the kick off. Duncan Willetts didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Den Halford went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. When Hadleigh United's Stu Marsden in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kemsing's goalie prevented a goal. 66 minutes into the game, Kemsing's Lance Kelly nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Duncan Willetts made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Duncan Willetts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lance Kelly, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Den Halford managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kemsing's supporters rose to their feet, but Den Halford was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Duncan Willetts breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carl Pell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stu Marsden in the 79th minute of the match. After 85 minutes, Lance Kelly made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Hadleigh United's Duncan Willetts tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mitch Fordham scored 6-0 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Duncan Willetts, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 102nd minute, Lance Kelly left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kemsing fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Kemsing had won after a very even match.
