Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Quentin Strongman took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ivan Upson during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ivan Upson kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After 7 played minutes Clapham AFC got a freekick which was hit by Den Shilton. Lance Kelly received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bobby Stride came out and tried to block the shot, but Lance Kelly slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 9th minute. Lance Kelly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Bobby Stride tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Clapham AFC's zone, Den Halford stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bobby Stride came out of the goal and Den Halford tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Kemsing's Lance Kelly in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Clapham AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Lance Kelly struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Bobby Stride didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kemsing. In the 26th minute, Lance Kelly got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Clapham AFC's zone, Den Halford stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bobby Stride came out of the goal and Den Halford tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 37 minutes into the match, Clapham AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Lance Kelly came free, but Bobby Stride reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lance Kelly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lance Kelly fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bobby Stride having to interfere. The supporters of Clapham AFC booed when Kemsing was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dylon Jones didn't get a good kick on the ball. Den Halford could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Bobby Stride made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lance Kelly to make the kick off. After 51 minutes of play, Kemsing's Lance Kelly made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bobby Stride was left in no man's land by his defense there! Den Halford kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Lance Kelly might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bobby Stride. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lance Kelly ran back to his position shaking his head. Bobby Stride took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Den Halford, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clapham AFC's Bobby Stride played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lance Kelly in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Mitch Fordham was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kemsing's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clapham AFC the free kick. The supporters of Clapham AFC booed when Kemsing was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Upson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Clapham AFC defense, Lance Kelly kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bobby Stride. The Clapham AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bobby Stride should have stopped the shot. 76 minutes into the match, Lance Kelly notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Clapham AFC's Bobby Stride. Bobby Stride was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lance Kelly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Den Halford in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bobby Stride prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 83rd minute, Den Halford got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Quentin Strongman charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Quentin Strongman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Kemsing booed when Clapham AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quentin Strongman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bobby Stride showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Den Halford, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. If Lance Kelly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bobby Stride showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lance Kelly in the 95th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Kemsing players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
