Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Neil Norton kicked off to start the match. After 2 minutes, Dylon Jones mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kemsing and the Running Ducks players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 3rd minute, Dylon Jones hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Ray Dudgeon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carl Pell was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. After having played for 5 minutes, Kris Hoskins managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Running Ducks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kris Hoskins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kris Hoskins's late challenge caught a Kemsing's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kris Hoskins helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th minute, Kris Hoskins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kemsing's Lance Kelly got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Running Ducks's Ray Dudgeon got a free kick in the 15th minute. Wes Meade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mitch Fordham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Seb Lynam struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Carl Pell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Running Ducks. Lance Kelly fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wes Meade having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Seb Lynam ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carl Pell was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Den Halford had several of the Running Ducks's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 36 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Wes Meade as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Den Halford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Running Ducks's Wes Meade got control of the ball when Den Halford tried to sneak it across the goal line. Neil Norton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Carl Pell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lance Kelly to make the kick off. When Seb Lynam came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Running Ducks fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Seb Lynam couldn't finish the play. In the 56th minute Den Halford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wes Meade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Darius Bettney charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Darius Bettney the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 60 minutes into the game, one of Running Ducks:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 62nd minute there was a penalty for Kemsing. Chris Pearce stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Wes Meade. 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Kemsing's zone, Ray Dudgeon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carl Pell came out of the goal and Ray Dudgeon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th minute of the match Lance Garner shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carl Pell showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Ray Dudgeon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Neil Norton came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Running Ducks fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Neil Norton couldn't finish the play. Ray Dudgeon took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carl Pell. Carl Pell dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Running Ducks's zone, Lance Kelly stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wes Meade came out of the goal and Lance Kelly tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 89 minutes, Seb Lynam mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Running Ducks and the Kemsing players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 89th match minute, Running Ducks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Seb Lynam to maneuver through the defense. After 95 played minutes Kemsing got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Upson. Ray Dudgeon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Carl Pell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Running Ducks were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
