Tardis Crew's Pete Pearce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonny Hislop in the 5th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tardis Crew's Ruben Godfrey got a free kick in the 9th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Tod Vaughn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ringwood AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tod Vaughn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pete Pearce breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonny Hislop received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Pete Pearce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pete Pearce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tod Vaughn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marlon Leonard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Basil Shotton made a huge save. Jonny Hislop received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Pete Pearce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ash Ginn was shown his second yellow card after 31 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Ash Ginn hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Tod Vaughn's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pete Pearce read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 44th minute, Tod Vaughn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

After having played for 53 minutes, Jonny Hislop managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ringwood AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonny Hislop was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 55 minutes into the match, Tardis Crew's goalkeeper Pete Pearce had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tod Vaughn. Marlon Leonard kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 72nd minute by Tod Vaughn got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Ringwood AFC's Tod Ferdinand got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 88th minute, Tod Vaughn ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pete Pearce was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1.
