Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) CJ Horsell made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 9th minute, CJ Horsell reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Roy Harris. The goal made the score 1-0. With a little luck, Barmby on the Marsh's Roy Harris got control of the ball when Pat Pilkington tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pat Pilkington took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roy Harris. Roy Harris dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Hayden Little fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zaq Rider having to interfere. 28 minutes into the game, Wayne Parslow was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tettenhall's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barmby on the Marsh the free kick. Wayne Parslow kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Gareth Waltham blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zaq Rider having to make a save. In the 30th minute CJ Horsell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roy Harris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Wayne Parslow dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Roy Harris, 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pat Pilkington got free with Roy Harris in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Barmby on the Marsh's Roy Harris proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Barmby on the Marsh from getting a goal against them. Gareth Waltham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Zaq Rider tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by CJ Horsell in the 43rd minute of play forced Barmby on the Marsh's goalkeeper Roy Harris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CJ Horsell struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Roy Harris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tettenhall. With a little luck, Barmby on the Marsh's Roy Harris got control of the ball when Pat Pilkington tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Gareth Waltham made the kick off in the second half. When Jack Johnson fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tettenhall's protests and gave Jack Johnson a yellow card for diving instead. After 53 played minutes Tettenhall got a freekick which was hit by Jack Johnson. In the 56th minute, Gareth Waltham ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zaq Rider was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Barmby on the Marsh's Roy Harris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by CJ Horsell in the 65th minute of play. Craig Tindale's late challenge caught a Tettenhall's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Craig Tindale helped the player get up and apologised. In the 67th minute, Craig Tindale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barmby on the Marsh's Roy Harris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pat Pilkington in the 68th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Barmby on the Marsh's goal looked a bit too open when CJ Horsell came free, but Roy Harris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Barmby on the Marsh getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Gareth Waltham hit a great ball. In the 77th minute, Pat Pilkington left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tettenhall fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. In the 86th minute, Barmby on the Marsh's Sebastian Griffiths seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sebastian Griffiths the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Barmby on the Marsh protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sebastian Griffiths had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 85th minute of the game. One of Barmby on the Marsh:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tettenhall:s goal. The referee gave Tettenhall a penalty, 88 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jack Johnson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Barmby on the Marsh's Roy Harris. 5-1. Roy Harris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pat Pilkington in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 97th minute CJ Horsell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roy Harris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roy Harris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from CJ Horsell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tettenhall fans cheered their team off the field, for while Barmby on the Marsh had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
