If CJ Horsell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the match, Tettenhall's goalkeeper Zaq Rider had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chesney Bond. A collision led to Pershore AFC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Brian Kingston hit a great ball. In the 21st minute, CJ Horsell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 24th minute, George Brady hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mike Speed made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from CJ Horsell in the 29th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Tettenhall's goalkeeper Zaq Rider had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chesney Bond. When CJ Horsell came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Tettenhall fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that CJ Horsell couldn't finish the play. CJ Horsell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mike Speed having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Robin Sinclair hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Pat Pilkington came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Tettenhall fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pat Pilkington couldn't finish the play. If CJ Horsell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gary Morris to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Pat Pilkington left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tettenhall fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. John Short shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Pat Pilkington received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Mike Speed tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ronny Maloney kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Mike Speed made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Pat Pilkington sent off a good shot on target. In the 86th minute, Pat Pilkington had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. John Short's late challenge caught a Tettenhall's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. John Short helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Pershore AFC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. John Short hit a great ball. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pershore AFC's goalkeeper Mike Speed, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pershore AFC's Mike Speed proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Pershore AFC from getting a goal against them. CJ Horsell might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mike Speed. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. CJ Horsell ran back to his position shaking his head. Tettenhall's Wayne Parslow suffered a concussion after 93 minutes and had to leave the field. 93 minutes into the game, Robin Sinclair was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pershore AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tettenhall the free kick. In the 94th match minute, Pershore AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robin Sinclair to maneuver through the defense. In the 99th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pershore AFC's goalkeeper Mike Speed, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Tettenhall left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Pershore AFC.
