Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Liam Monk started the match with the kick off. After 4 played minutes Dorchester got a freekick which was hit by Howard Whitford. Joel Hornsby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cliff Cox in the 6th minute of play. After having played for 8 minutes, Liam Monk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dorchester's supporters crossed their fingers, but Liam Monk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 10 played minutes Dorchester got a freekick which was hit by Pat Cooke. If Roger Dryden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thom Lineker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chesney Ely, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gus Dunn kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Thom Lineker stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Liam Monk's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute, Jasper Riad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dorchester's Joel Hornsby proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Dorchester from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Manchester United booed when Dorchester was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Howard Whitford didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Howard Whitford was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 37 minutes had been played. In the 38th minute of the match Simon Spurgeon shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joel Hornsby showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Joel Hornsby was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cliff Cox showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 41 minute of play. Roger Drydens short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Joel Hornsby to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roger Dryden stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Roger Dryden notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Dorchester's Joel Hornsby. Joel Hornsby was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Liam Monk charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Liam Monk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Dorchester getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Liam Monk hit a great ball. Thom Lineker came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Dorchester's Jasper Riad. But to his dismay, Jasper Riad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 66 minutes into the game, Dorchester's Chesney Ely nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thom Lineker made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Roger Dryden blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joel Hornsby having to make a save. In the 76th minute, Manchester United's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jasper Riad fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Gus Dunn hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, Cliff Cox had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joel Hornsby. Dorchester's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cliff Cox was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Jasper Riad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Thom Lineker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jasper Riad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Wes Hughes-Guy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goalkeeper Thom Lineker had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jasper Riad. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
